Terms & Conditions for P&H Hypnotherapy

Welcome to P&H Hypnotherapy, operated by Abbie Morris. By utilising our website and services, you signify your acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions. We kindly request that you read these documents attentively. 

*1. Acceptance of Terms: By accessing or using this website, you agree to adhere to and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Should you disagree with any part of these terms, you must cease all usage of the website immediately. 

*2. Services Provided: 

Hypnotherapy services are not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis. we do not claim to cure or treat emdical conditions. You should always seek advice from a healthcare provider before engaging in hypnotherapy particularly if you have any underlying physical or mental health conditions. By participating in our services you acknowledge and agree that you are doing so voluntarily for your health outcomes. 

P&H Hypnotherapy provides hypnotherapy services for individuals seeking assistance with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to stress, anxiety, smoking cessation, and weight management. Services can be delivered in person or through secure virtual sessions. 

Each session is designed to last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, and current fees are detailed in the services and pricing section of our website. Please note that fees will remain consistent for the duration of your treatment, notwithstanding any changes that may occur during this period. 

The length of therapy will be tailored to the individual client and their specific objectives, as well as their level of commitment. A 'cure' cannot be assured nor is this claimed.

An indication of potential session requirements may be provided during the initial consultation. This will be continuously evaluated, and a client-centred approach will allow you to determine when you believe you have achieved your goals and wish to conclude the sessions. Any suggested duration of therapy sessions serves merely as a guideline, as individual progress may vary

*3. Client Responsibilities: Clients are expected to engage responsibly in the therapeutic process. The effectiveness of hypnotherapy relies on your active participation and commitment to the treatment plan. You are encouraged to provide feedback and communicate openly regarding any concerns or issues that may arise throughout the course of therapy. Should you require further clarification on your responsibilities or any other aspect of our services, please do not hesitate to reach out. 

*4. Privacy and Confidentiality: All client information is treated with the utmost confidentiality, in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Your personal information will not be disclosed unless authorised by you or required by law.

*5. Limitation of Liability: While every effort is made to provide effective services, P&H Hypnotherapy and Abbie Morris accept no liability for any adverse outcomes resulting from the use of hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or advice, and we encourage clients to seek appropriate professional guidance regarding any medical or psychological conditions. 

 *6. Commitment, Standards of Behaviour and Code of Conduct: As a registered practitioner with the National Council of Hypnotherapy, I adhere strictly to the established code of conduct set forth by the professional body throughout your therapy. Clients are also expected to uphold the following standards: 

respecting the confidentiality of the therapist, committing to active engagement in sessions, and ensuring attendance is free from the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. Should your conduct violate these standards, P&H Hypnotherapy reserves the right to terminate sessions, and/or refuse future appointments. Furthermore, I retain the right to decline treatment if I believe hypnotherapy is not the appropriate therapeutic intervention.

*7. Consent of treatment: Prior to the Initial Consultation, I will request your consent (which may be obtained electronically) to proceed with Hypnotherapy. Implied consent will be assumed for each subsequent session based on further session bookings. 

For the treatment of minors (individuals under 16 years of age), parental consent will be required.

In the case of regression sessions I will require further consent to proceed with treatment. 

*8. Limitation of Liability: While we make every effort to provide a safe and effective service, P&H Hypnotherapy does not guarantee specific results from hypnotherapy. We cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, emotional distress, or other outcomes related to your participation in our services.  

To the fullest extent permitted by law, P&H Hypnotherapy is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or services. 

*9. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: Clients must notify Abbie Morris, P&H Hypnotherapy at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a session. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of £30. 

*10. Amendments to Terms: P&H Hypnotherapy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any modifications will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the site signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
